iGliss limited-trial has started
iGliss is about to be re-launched after our team has worked tirelessly for the last six months to improve the site's features and usability.
Currently we are in limited Beta trial. As such, we only allow a few users to use the site. You can invite up to 10 of your friends to use the site. Since our site is still being enhanced, it is likely that you may encounter problems. We ask you to be patient as we are working hard to fix all the problems. We appreciate it if you can report any issues, or give feedbacks to us by clicking the "Feedback" link. We also apprecaite it if you can help set your friends' expectations, and ask them report any issues and give feedbacks to us.
In spite of the changes, our mission remains the same: we want to make it easy for you to collect, organize, and share media content from your PCs, your friends, and interesting Web sites. You shouldn't need to spend hours uploading pictures or videos, wading through various web sites to find and stay in sync with the latest cool pictures, videos, audio podcasts, and blog posts. You can use your iGliss media catalog to easily collect, organize, and share media content, regardless of their physical locations.
The following are some of the improvements we have made in the last six months:
A much improved design and user experience based on your feedbacks
Improved
My iGliss
that lets you access your invitations, friends, groups, and media catalog in one place
Much easier to add your friends from your Outlook and popular Web address books
One-click to save and share interesting content with friends
Easier to add, subscribe to, and delete media content and feeds in your media catalog
A simple picture upload feature for you to add a small number of pictures to your albums
Our work is still not finished. We are still working on improving the experience of collecting and syncing media content shared by your friends in popular social networking and media-sharing web sites. We will be rolling out these new improvements in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned for the announcements when the new features are available.

Sync media from your PCs
The iGliss PC Client Beta is now released. It automatically syncs your selected folders of video, picture, and audio files from your PC to your iGliss media catalog. It is simple and easy. No clicks are required.
The iGliss PC Client supports the following media formats:
Picture: JPEG, GIF, and PNG format
Video: DRM-free MP4 and Windows Media, AVI, FLV
Audio: MP3, DRM-free MP4 and Windows Media, WAV
Many people have saved hundreds of pictures, video clips, or MP3 sound tracks on their PCs. While uploading a few media files to a Web site is not particularly difficult, providing remote access to your entire media collection or share it with friends typically means spending hours or days to upload files to one or multiple media-sharing Web sites. As you continue to add new media files to your PCs, it will become even more time-consuming to keep your media content on the Web sites in-sync with your media collection on your PCs. Who has time for this?
The iGliss PC Client takes the hassle of remotely accessing your media content and sharing it with your friends away from you. It is a small program that you can download and install on your Windows PC. Once installed, the program lets you add any media folders on your PC, and immediately syncs them up to your iGliss media catalog for you and your friends to enjoy.
Want to show the new pictures to your friends? Just save them from your digital camera to your PC, and add the folder of the pictures to the PC Client. The pictures will instantly show up in your iGliss picture albums for you and your friends to enjoy. Sharing videos and audio is just as easy. You can also remotely access and share media content from multiple PCs.
With the iGliss PC Client, remotely accessing and sharing your media collection from your PCs is truly a snap. iGliss makes uploading files a thing of the past.
Due to its unique design, the iGliss PC Client is completely secure and will not add any risk of unauthorized access to your PC from the Internet.
Download the new iGliss PC Client
now and experience the ease and fun of accessing your media collection on your PCs from anywhere, and sharing it with your friends.
