Mix'n Sync media from the Web

iGliss helps you collect and mix media content from interesting Web sites in your own media catalog, and make it easy for you to access all the cool pictures, videos, audio podcasts, and blog posts from everywhere in one place.

Want to stay in sync with cool podcasts, pictures, videos, and blog posts from many different sources, but tired of constantly searching for them and wading through the long list of links in your browser's bookmarks or favorites? iGliss may be just the right solution for you.

With iGliss, you can easily collect pictures, videos, audio, or blog items from many cool web sites including YouTube, Flickr, MSN, Podcast.net, and FeedBurner in your own media catalog. You can also add any RSS feeds and let iGliss automatically synchronize the updates from these feeds in your catalog. From your iGliss catalog, you can organize the media items and share them with your friends with just one click.

Unlike RSS readers or personalized home pages of various Web sites, iGliss lets you collect and sync individual pictures, audio tracks, video clips, and blog posts, and automatically organize in your own albums, playlists, channels, and folders. You decide what you want to include in your media catalog, and iGliss does the job for you.

We are continuing to integrate with more and more cool media Web sites and feeds. You can also help by providing suggestions to us as to what Web sites that you would like us to integrate with, so that you can easily collect and sync content from those Web sites.

You can also read our regular posts in the iGliss Blog for useful information and commentary.

Share media in groups

With iGliss, sharing media content with friends is easy. You can now use our new Contact Wiget to instantly add any of your contacts from your Outlook or many popular Web sites (including Yahoo, Google, Hotmail, and AOL) as your friends, and share pictures, videos, audio, and blog content with them with just a simple click.

iGliss also lets you easily create your groups and share media within each group. You can decide which friends to invite to your groups. You can also decide if content shared in your group can be viewed only by group members or by any iGliss users (i.e. the public). You can also create groups that only you and your friends can join and share content with each other. You have full control of what media content to share and whom you share with.

Share media in different formats

iGliss allows you collect and share media content in popular formats, e.g. MP3, MP4, WMA, WMV, FLV, SWF, PNG, and GIF. This means, for example, you can collect video clips in different formats in the same video channel, or audio tracks of various formats in the same playlist. iGliss automatically detects the media type of each item and uses the appropriate media player control to seamlessly deliver the media playback experience on our Web site. You can also embed the video, audio, and pictures from iGliss.com in your personal spaces on other web sites, in your blogs, in IM and chat rooms.

The iGliss PC Client also supports different DRM-free media formats for pictures, audio, and video. The iGliss PC Client convers your video files of various formats to the most popular flash format, to make it easy for you to access and share with friends on the Web.
